The Early Days in Our Hero's Life
GREG.COM was started when Greg was in First Grade, and, until now, this site didn't cover his early years. Now, as you'll see below, that's been rectified.
These pictures (above, right) show Greg at just a few months old. |

About to have Grandpa read to him from Thomas the Tank Engine, about 2 years old. |
Sharing a laugh with Grandma soon after moving to the family's home in Edgemont. |
Here's the man at 2 years old: His first horseback ride, and then at a Halloween party at pre-school. |

 | More pre-school fun: Above left, a visit from Santa. Above right, the junior zoologist with a giraffe.
Left, the pre-school has a "Beach Day" in the middle of winter, and Greg went swimming.
Below left, with Winnie the Pooh at about 3 years old, and, below right, with Barney the Dinosaur, at about age 4. |

How to explain these photos? Greg borrowed his uncle's wig and became Rasta Man. Above with cousin Sophie, who looks like she stole a Jedi knight's outfit from Ewan Macgregor in a Star Wars film.

Greg's nursery school photos. He's 3-years old in the red shirt and 4-years old in the blue shirt and tie. |
 |
Above, Greg (age 5?) with cousins Mary Margaret and Kate for Halloween in Atlanta. Despite the witchy costumes, they really are very sweet . . . At right: No, Greg has not just been named Cardinal Loftus. That's the man in his red choir robe on Choir Recognition Day at St. James the Less, our church in Scarsdale. (He was finishing first grade at the time.) |
